Carl’s portfolio includes complex government, cultural and academic projects. As Partner for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center, he has worked since 2004 with the many public agencies, community groups, historic preservation parties, families and survivors who are involved with the implementation of the Memorial and Museum at the site of the twin towers.
His other work for cultural institutions includes a Master Plan for The Frick Collection and several projects for the Juilliard School. He has a wide range of experience with college and university work, including projects at Columbia, Princeton, Cornell and Washington University, Sarah Lawrence College and the Universities of Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
