This new build commercial development forms an exciting new landmark in the practice’s continuing wave of developments procured through its Almaty office.
A true mix of uses is contained within the building, the design concept for which is based upon a Jewel Box, with key ‘crystal’ features punctuating the elevations visible to the streetscape, whilst the opposite elevation maximizes views across the surrounding mountains. The jewels announce key elements of the mixed-uses within the building and will act as a draw for public circulation to the upper levels.
The development comprises a roof terrace, restaurant, café, and office space on the main floors with high quality retail at ground floor level. Other key elements of the design include a striking reception area, rooftop public viewing gallery and observatory.
