This bus/heavy interchange project requires close liaison with a large number of stakeholders including Metro, Wakefield MDC, Network Rail and Northern Rail.

The new facility will incorporate a single fully enclosed concourse giving direct access to the heavy rail platform and to all vehicle types including articulated buses. A major objective of the design is to significantly enhance connection to the public realm and commercial areas.
