David is an Executive Director of Aedas and has over 12 years of professional experience in Asia and Europe. He studied at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff in the UK where he gained a distinction in Bachelor of Architecture. He alsowon the Alwyn Lloyd prize as best BArch Student in his year.
Since he joined Aedas Shrewsbury office in 1997, David has gained considerable experience in a wide range of projects including hospitals, restaurants, logistics & distribution, residential masterplanning, offices, retail, sports and leisure developments. In 2004, he relocated to Hong Kong as an exchange Architect and was
promoted to Executive Director in 2011.
David’s involvement has ranged from front-end feasibility and concept design through to project co-ordination on site. David has international experience having worked on projects in Europe, Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea and China.
Since working in HK, David has been involved in a series of large scale refurbishment and new build commercial projects. He has recently completed a Grade-A Office and Podium renovation in Central as well as the Kowloon City Plaza renovation works.
David is currently co leading a team to design, document and realise Centre 66 in Wuxi, a 255,000 sq m mixed use development in China. The scheme comprises prestige retail with two grade A office towers. After the successful cooperation for Centre 66 in Wuxi, Aedas are once again commissioned by the Client to design, document and deliver a 6-storey shopping mall at Dalian, PRC – Olympia 66, which will be adjacent to the Olympic Square in Dalian.
