To support our continuous growth and expansion in Asia, Aedas is offering a unique and fantastic career growth opportunity, for a high caliber Senior architectural candidate, to become the new Design Director of Aedas India, located in Delhi.

The Candidate would initially be located in Singapore for a 6 month period, working closely with the Aedas design team and India Country Manager on existing projects and proposals in India, building relationships with clients and familiarization with projects, with the intent that a project of suitable scale & duration, can then be migrated to our new India office, under the guidance of the new Director and team.

This is a challenging but exciting position, in one of the worlds fastest developing continents, and presents numerous opportunities for a enthusiastic individual to develop the Indian sub continent into a key market for Aedas.

Design Director of Aedas India (Ref.: DDIR/IN/AW/0611)

• Has worked with Aedas for a minimum of 3 years
• 8 years or above experience in design development, design documentation, and job running skills;
• Proven experience in managing development aspects of significant projects;
• Able to carry responsibility for design development, design coordination and documentation as well as being responsible for managing junior design and drafting staff;
• Experience in hotel, commercial, residential or infrastructure projects will be an advantage;
• Fee Proposal and Contract preparation experience preferred
• Ability to relocate to Singapore for 6 month duration as part of design team & then transfer to Delhi, India to establish design office.
