Following our successful design for Crossrail’s Whitechapel Station, Aedas has been commissioned to provide architectural design services for the £300m Farringdon Station in north east London.

The station comprises two 245m long platform tunnels with concourses and entrances at the eastern and western ends. It will also provide an interchange with the London Underground and London Thameslink networks.

Aedas is part of a specialist, multi-disciplinary team led by Scott Wilson Railways, who will be co-located at Crossrail’s Headquarters in Canary Wharf. We will be using a 3D BIM model to deliver the design for the station. The station will also have two large over-site commercial developments and will be fully operational in 2018.
