THE LOCATION

  Global Design Summit No. 9 was a 3 day event at the Il Borro Resort & Spa, an exclusive estate in Tuscany, Italy, which includes a tiny picturesque village with many pretty suites and village houses of various sizes, and several large villas set amidst the estate grounds. The Pratomagno hills are a marvelous backdrop to this beautiful setting amidst the stunning Tuscan countryside. Today, it belongs to part of the “Salvatore Ferragamo” fashion family, who has painstakingly restored this fabulous estate, which covers 700 hectares. The original historic village has been lovingly restored and provides excellent holiday and event accommodation.
