Aedas was appointed as architect and contract administrator for a new £3.6m bus station for Greater Manchester PTE on the site of an existing bus station. Designed to promote public transport use, the station provides a combination of double and single parallel bus loading bays that will cater for a maximum 108 bus movements per hour.

A fully enclosed central island concourse offers retail space, passenger facilities, travelshop, supervisors’ office and staff/crew accommodation.
