Aedas won the design competition to redevelop the existing railway station. The design uses a striking roof structure to create a landmark gateway to the town centre. The scheme will see the station significantly upgraded and will seek to unify the stations elements within a coherent architectural and landscaping strategy, enhancing the resident, visitor and user experience.
