Aedas was appointed to provide the full range of design consulting services for the Bank of East Asia’s (BEA) Centralization project at Millennium City 5.

The project comprises relocating approx. 28 departments from six different locations into one location at BEA Tower, Millennium City 5, Kwun Tong. BEA has purchased 15 offices floors plus additional areas of Auditorium on 7/F and Roof Garden on 43/F to accommodate their operations.

Aedas undertook an extensive Facility Planning Study which included a detailed benchmarking process to confirm BEA’s actual requirements. Generic layouts have been introduced based on a 1.8m x 1.8m base workstation size, with the numbers of space standards minimized to four different standards.

The design is based on the use of neutral colours with splashes of colour at predetermined locations, with the intent to complement and strengthen BEA’s brand awareness.
