Aedas Interiors was appointed by Philip Products to provide the full Interior Design consultancy services for the interior fit out works to approx. 9,000 sq.m. over a total of 7 nos. storey.

The project comprised two main operational groups. The Product Development Centre is accommodated over 5 nos. storey comprise engineering sections with a high requirement of technical support facilities. The other main group provides business Administration support and is accommodated over 2 nos. storey.

Aedas Interiors introduced a reduced number of modular workstation configurations and a largely “open plan” environment to provide long-term flexibility.

The design concept created by Aedas Interiors carried the external ‘flying’ wall through to the large interior wall adjacent to the extended stairway. Splashes of vibrant colour are used ingeniously to colour code the interior spaces while creating a dynamic atmosphere in the open plan offices, symbolizing Philips’ innovative product development initiatives. Bold accent carpets bring interest and textural contrast to the horizontal plane against the modest glossy stone flooring.
