Malcolm has over 25 years of professional experience in Asia on a broad variety of projects in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea where he has worked at Director level with highly recognised international design consultants, such as Terry Farrell and Partners and RMJM, on a diverse range of commissions varying in size from individual houses to the largest commercially demanding Master plans. Equally at ease with formulating briefs for clients or managing construction contracts Malcolm’s skills are versatile and multi-faceted. Malcolm qualified as an Architect in 1983 in the UK where he has also worked for a number of years. He obtained Authorised Person status in Hong Kong (List 1) in 1985 and travels frequently. His portfolio includes large hospitality developments, major property developments, infrastructure projects, prestige public buildings and interiors. On infrastructure projects Malcolm has over seven years experience of railway station design directly with the Mass Transit Railway and Kowloon Canton Railway Corporations. He has considerable expertise in project management with a successful track record; commercially aware, a good communicator and comfortable leading multi-disciplinary teams.
