Aedas has released a new signature book featuring the works of Andrew Bromberg, an internationally renowned architect.
New Architecture in the Emerging World: Projects by Andrew Bromberg, Aedas is a collection of work revealing Bromberg’s versatility over a range of projects designed for Aedas between 2002 and 2010.
The Asian boom of the last decade created an unprecedented arena for architectural adventure and experimentation, an environment in which Bromberg immersed himself and thrived. Aedas was at the epicenter of this ferment, in part due to its significant presence in Hong Kong preceding the boom, and then in large part due to the furious energy and passion that Bromberg brought to the firm when he joined in 2002.
Featuring a foreword by Ralph Lerner, an introduction by Aaron Betsky, essays by Larry Rouch and Joseph Giovannini, and edited by Oscar Riera Ojeda, the book is a visual feast and a wholesome representation Bromberg displayed in order to address Asia’s extremely varied clients, sites, architectural programmes, schedules and cultural parameters. The book also provides a comprehensive picture of how Bromberg has actualized his vision and talent into real forms changing the current of modern design.
