As part of the Open City: Green Sky Thinking event Aedas R&D hosted a roundtable discussion where organisations undertaking detailed Building Performance Evaluations (BPE) under the Technology Strategy Board’s funded programme debated the challenges of achieving low carbon building operation in use.  Early findings and insights encountered in the course of detailed building monitoring will have profound implications for future policy and practice. 

The session was followed by a  ‘Pecha Kucha’ style presentation where roundtable participants from FCBS, Architype, Bere Architects, Aecom and Aedas shared their initial findings with a broader group of professionals and the public.  The event was held in our London office where around a hundred people gathered for the presentation and exhibit.   

About Open-City's Green Sky Thinking:  The event highlighted solutions and new ideas on sustainability through a London-wide programme. The programme featured some of the UK’s top experts on green build and retrofit.
