HAECO Hangar No.3A Completed

24/8/2009

Aedas is glad to announce that the HAECO Aircraft Maintenance Hangar No. 3A project, the first phase of Hangar 3, for which it was appointed as the Architect for planning, design, statutory advice and project administration has been completed.

Being the third aircraft maintenance hangar at the Chek Lap Kok International Airport in Hong Kong, the development is a world-class 16,000 square-metre facility that can simultaneously accommodate two jumbo jets wide-bodied aircrafts and one nose-in aircraft to provide a total of three Boeing 747 sized aircraft maintenance positions.

It will allow a 33% increase in annual heavy maintenance capacity at the Hong Kong International Airport. Multi-level annex buildings are located at the middle, east and west corners of the hangar housing the ancillary offices, control centres, workshops, stores and amenities.
