Community College of City University Building | Aedas | Research & Development | Hong Kong | Hong Kong

Upon completion of the On-campus College Building Technical Feasibility Studies for City University of Hongkong, Aedas have been commissioned by the same client to lead a multi-disciplinary team to construct a building at the campus. The project comprises the construction of a new building, to be known as the Community College of City University Building, to accommodate staff and 6,000 students teaching and studying for mainly sub-degree programmes. The building is anticipated to be approximately 40,000m2 and is to be located parallel to Nam Shan Chuan Road which is to the west side of the City University Campus. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2008.

Aedas have been appointed as the Lead Consultant, Architect, and Authorized Person responsible for the project management and provide architectural services from preliminary to detail design & documentation and statutory submission upon this project. Aedas are using the most advanced IT technology, Building Information Modeling for design and documentation and also the most advanced web-based collaboration project management software, Aconex, for co-ordination.
