Tim is a Divisional Director for Aedas Transport & Infrastructure with specific responsibility for the Rail sector in Europe and North America.

Tim has professional experience totalling 18 years, 15 of those as a chartered architect and has worked almost exclusively on transportation projects and/or projects with large public capacity such as stadia and leisure facilities. He has worked on several award-winning projects including Sunny Bay Station in Hong Kong and The Eden Project in Cornwall, UK.

Although Tim has worked on all variants of fixed rail systems, from driverless light-rail to MAGLEV, he specialises in the design of sub-surface rail facilities and the recently awarded Farringdon Station for Crossrail is his 20th station design commission, 12 of which were for sub-surface systems. Tim’s Station design experience covers all stages, from feasibility to detailed design and site construction roles and he recently led the detailed design input for the 30,000sqm Austin Station in Hong Kong and the Mater Stop in Dublin.

In 2003, Tim gained the APM’s ‘Certificate in Project Management’ and firmly believes Design Quality and Delivery can coexist without compromise.
