The Hadley Learning Community brings together on one site a secondary school, primary school, nursery, special school and community theatre, library and swimming school.

The site of the building exploits the complex levels in order to maximise the integration of the building with its surrounding sports fields, bowling green, games courts and play areas.

The site is fully integrated into the local community, providing a green network of foot and cycle paths and support of a new major urban focal space at the heart of the building.
