Aedas was commissioned by Crosby Lend Lease and the Big Yellow Storage Company to masterplan and carry out the detail design of the Manchester Industrial Estate Site on Water Street in the Castlefield Conservation area of Manchester.

The masterplan seeks to create a residential led mixed-use development around a new ‘river park’ providing public realm of the highest standard around the River Medlock which runs through the heart of the site. The project has been developed in conjunction with Manchester City Council and is planned to be submitted for planning early in 2009.
