The proposed redevelopment of St Thomas’s hospital site as a ‘national Demostrator Site’ includes Primary Health Care Services, Diagnostics and Treatment Centre, Community based Services and a Pharmacy.

The landscape and urban design considers the surrounding built form including listed landmark buildings, views into and out of the site and proposed redevelopment of the adjacent college, together with connectivity through the site to provide safe routes at all hours, and the creation of day patient gardens and community space.

Vehicular and pedestrian movement requirements into and through the site are complex and clarity of built form and site organisation paramount.
