Our aim was to bring the essence of the Montreux Jazz Festival to the café in Fairmont Le Montreux Palace in an individual and sophisticated style. Aedas Interiors created a narrative about the festival that tells different parts of the story, from the beginning to the present day throughout the dining areas. It shaped the cafe into a modern, colourful and eclectic space befitting of a five star hotel. No part of that story was completed without reference to the creator of the festival, the renowned Claude Nobs, and through the conception of a new lounge area we have acknowledged his lifework in a subtle yet exciting manner.
