Bravo PARK PLACE launches in Guangzhou

Bravo PARK PLACE, designed by Aedas, held a launch ceremony last Saturday. Aedas attended the ceremony and presented the design concept to all guests, celebrating the launch of the project.

Bravo PARK PLACE, with Aedas' Global Board Director, Ken Wai, as the project director, is located on top of the Modiesha Subway Station on East Xin’gang Road in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou. As a world-class landmark project with 55 storeys and of 230 metres high, the building comprises Super-A office space, Shama Luxe serviced apartments, landscape gardens and high-end restaurants. Its design is inspired by jigsaw puzzles, aiming to integrate the building into the cityscape while  meeting the programme requirements of two different clients at the same time in a unified architectural language.

Bravo PARK PLACE is divided into two main parts – the upper floors are offices and a corporate clubhouse with breathtaking views of the Guangzhou Tower and Zujiang River; the lower floors houses serviced apartments, a clubhouse, restaurants and retail shops. The bespoke design allows the elevation to clearly reflect the distinctions between functions, and the whole composition is unified by a semi controlled random fenestration using vertical fins at regular intervals. The top portion of the building uses a simple but effective gesture that combines the observation deck with utility nodes, allowing views towards the Guangzhou Tower and a green space.

Bravo PARK PLACE was named Best International Commercial High-rise Architecture at International Property Awards 2014, Best Commercial High-rise Architecture in Asia Pacific and 5-Star Best Commercial High-rise Architecture, China, of Asia Pacific Property Awards 2014 and other renowned international design awards. The project is expected to complete next year.
