Aedas projects shine at the International Property Awards 2024

We are excited to share that two Aedas projects win top prizes under commercial high rise architecture and hotel architecture categories at the International Property Awards this year. This feat highlights our dedication to creating world-class design solutions that are tailored to the needs of cities and communities around the world.

1. Shenzhen Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone East Wing-1 Project, Shenzhen, PRC (Jointly-designed by Aedas – Global Design Principal Leo Liu and Huayi Design) – Winner in Best International Commercial High Rise Architecture and Regional Winner in Best Commercial High Rise Architecture Asia Pacific Categories

Comprised of an iconic Grade-A office Tower, two high-rise residential buildings and a shopping center podium, the 260,000 sq m complex aims to create an international business environment that is conducive to technological entrepreneurship, and a leading lifestyle centre that promotes live-work balance. The layout of the three towers is measured to maximise landscape view, with the office tower located on the plot’s east side, across the Huanggang port, while the north side houses the rest of components. As a gateway landmark, the project includes features of Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and seeks to promote talent integration from both places.

2. W Dubai – Mina Seyahi, Dubai, UAE (designed by Global Design Principal Ignacio Gomez) – Regional Winner in Best Hotel Architecture Arabia Category

Located in the north of the renowned Dubai International Marina Club, the project is an extension to the existing Le Meridien hotel. With an unrivalled beachfront location, the 5-star hotel tower is Dubai’s newest luxury hotel destination, promising to stun with its eclectic design. The design pays homage to Al Khous (weaving palm fronds), one of the oldest professions still practiced in coastal regions of the United Arab Emirates. With a rich seafaring history of pearling, fishing, and boat-building, the design seeks to honor the city’s love of the ocean in a reimagined lavish retreat.

International Property Awards is a world-renowned mark of excellence, celebrating the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property & real estate industry.
