We are pleased to announce that Aedas-designed TOWNPLACE West Kowloon has received Gold Award under Best Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Project category, and Lovi Center has received Bronze Award under Best Retail Project category at the renowned MIPIM Asia Awards 2024. This feat highlights our dedication to creating world-class design solutions that are tailored to the needs of cities and communities around the world.

1. TOWNPLACE West Kowloon, Hong Kong (designed by Global Design Principal Cary Lau) – Gold Winner in Best Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Project category
Strategically located in West Kowloon with convenient accessibility, TOWNPLACE West Kowloon is a flexible living destination with a promenade design concept. It is an interactive community that offers hotel and serviced apartment services with recreational amenities.

The façade adopts glass panels with copper gold fins, integrating itself to the nature and surroundings and providing a home-like ambience. Sitting aside the harbour, the 26-storey building is seamlessly linked with the public promenade on the ground floor and the F&B area of the first floor. It serves as a haven for relaxation, socialising and recreation with the breath-taking view of the Victoria Harbour and Central.

2. Lovi Center, Xi’an, PRC (designed by Global Design Principals Christine Lam and David Clayton) – Bronze Winner in Best Retail Project category

Located in Xi’an, the project is comprised of a shopping mall, office and hotel towers. Designed to be a vibrant mixed-use destination, Lovi Center has become a unique retail-recreational attraction through the hybrid of public space and greenery.
Injected with vibrancy and envisioned as a garden city, Lovi Center is filled with 100% natural greenery and flowers through podiums, gardens and green belts, marking itself a people-centric location with diverse commercial activities. It creates an immersive experience that consists of art and cultural exhibition, delivering an interactive and inspiring journey for visitors.
