St Pancras Chambers was designed as a hotel by Sir George Gilbert Scott for Midland Grand in the 1860s. It has been completely refurbished and returned to use as a 245-bed five-star hotel with 67 apartments, including one luxury penthouse.A new wing has been constructed adjacent to the station in the style of the original building and provides the majority of the hotel bedrooms.The major public rooms in the Chambers are used as restaurants, bars and hotel suites, including the Grand Stairs all having been redecorated to the original schemes.
