Stephen Cheng is a Global Principal of Aedas with over 32 years of professional experience in architecture. He is also a very experienced practicing Authorized Person in Hong Kong and plays a key leadership role for most of the company’s high profile public and private development projects.  With his extensive knowledge on the building regulations and restrictions, Stephen is able to demonstrate the merits of the design and successfully negotiate with various statutory authorities for fast and timely statutory approvals, ensuring every project are meeting the overall programme and client’s interest.

Stephen’s proven track record includes Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities, The Central - Wan Chai Bypass & Island Eastern Corridor Link Project, Terminal 2 Expansion and Third Runway Concourse at the Hong Kong International Airport to name a few.  He also serves as a Project Director for the company’s prestigious private clients including the Hongkong Land’s continuously upgrades on their building portfolios in Central; Ocean Park Corporation’s Waterfront District Redevelopment, Water Park Development, and Ocean Marriot Hotel; and Hong Kong Jockey Club’s renovation projects at their Happy Valley and Shatin Racecourse buildings.
