Raffles Hotel Singapore is selected winner of the Hotel Renovation & Restoration category at AHEAD Asia Awards 2020.

Undergone a three-year restoration and refurbishment, the timeless Raffles Hotel Singapore has officially reopened in August 2019 since its opening in 1887. The delicate treatment integrates state-of-the-art restoration techniques and careful selection of material palette, reviving the heritage building back to its original glory and enabling it to thrive for the next 100 years. The restored spaces reflect an era of grace, conviviality and civility, while an injection of new technology has further enhanced the guest experience.

Aedas led a multi-disciplinary team for the renovation, including heritage consultant Studio Lapis, interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud for the hotel, Jouin Manku for ‘BBR Restaurant by Alain Ducasse’ and Aedas Interiors for the Chinese restaurant ‘Yi by Jereme Leung’ at the hotel.
