We are pleased to announce that Aedas-designed Trojena Ski Village has received the Popular Choice Winner in the Unbuilt Sports and Recreation category and Lovi Center has received Special Mention of Shopping Center category at Architizer A+ Awards 2024. This feat highlights our dedication to creating world-class design solutions that are tailored to the needs of cities and communities around the world.

1. Trojena Ski Village, NEOM, KSA (designed by Global Design Principal Ignacio Gomez) – Popular Choice Winner in Unbuilt Sports and Recreation Category
Trojena Ski Village, part of the NEOM mega project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it envisioned as the first sub-zero snow destination and outdoor ski resort in the Gulf offering year-round adventure sports. This futuristic, world-class destination is sculpted to respond to the natural topography. The 2,400 meter high altitude Ski Village will house six distinctive clusters that blend real with virtual architectural and engineering innovations, including ski slopes on the roof, to create a destination like no other. Offering exceptional human-centric experiences, the elevated mixed-use village will comprise of hotels, commercial spaces, entertainment, sports facilities, and residential accommodation.

2. Lovi Center, Xi’an, PRC (designed by Global Design Principals Christine Lam and David Clayton) – Special Mention in Shopping Center Category
Located in Xi’an, the newly opened Lovi Center serves as an urban oasis for the city. The mixed-use landmark is comprised of a shopping mall, office and hotel towers. Designed to be a vibrant shopping destination, Lovi Center has become a unique retail-recreational attraction through the hybrid of public space and greenery. The project is filled with 100% natural greenery and flowers through podiums, gardens and green belts, marking itself a people-centric location with diverse commercial activities. It creates an immersive experience that consists of art and cultural exhibition, delivering an interactive and inspiring journey for visitors.
