Aedas received six prestigious recognitions at HKIA Annual Awards

At this year’s The Hong Kong Institute of Architects – HKIA Annual Awards, Aedas has 5 projects awarded and 1 projects selected as a finalist. We are delighted to receive the awards as a testament to our dedication to creating world-class design solutions that are tailored to the needs of cities and communities around the world.

1. The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong, Hong Kong (designed by Executive Director Jerome Wong) – HKIA Merit Award of Hong Kong in Commercial Building Category

2. Hangzhou Yuhang Cainiao Headquarters & Park Project, Hangzhou, PRC (designed by Global Design Principal Cary Lau and Executive Director Henry Chau) – HKIA Award outside Hong Kong in Commercial Building Category

3. Chongqing Gaoke Group Ltd Office Project, Chongqing, PRC (designed by Global Design Principal Ken Wai) – HKIA Merit Award outside Hong Kong – Commercial Building Category

4. Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport Satellite Concourse, Shenzhen, PRC (Jointly-designed by GDAD, Aedas Executive Director Albert Tong, and Landrum & Brown (USA)) – HKIA Award outside Hong Kong – Industrial / Infrastructural Building Category

5. Huanggang Port New Development, Shenzhen, PRC (Jointly-designed by Aedas Founder and Global Principal Designer Keith Griffiths, Executive Director Chris Chen, Shenzhen CAPOL International & Associates Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Transportation Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Client: Bureau of Public Works of Shenzhen Municipality) – HKIA Award outside Hong Kong – Future Project Category

6. Takshing House Redevelopment – Construction Hoarding, Hong Kong (designed by Global Design Principal Cary Lau) – Finalist in President’s Special Prize

Began in 1965, The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) Annual Award celebrates outstanding architecture achievements. The awards are judged by a panel of current and form HKIA Presidents, recognising the architecture projects of various categories, including Commercial Building, Future Project and Industrial / Infrastructural Building categories.
