Aedas Arts Team Executive Director Julian Middleton will speak at Theatres Trust Conference 17: Theatres & Placemaking on Tuesday 17 October at London’s Lyric Hammersmith. He and Jatinder Verma from Tara Arts will be reflecting the needs and identity of local community through a case study of Tara Theatre. Other speakers include Richard Blyth, Head of Policy from Royal Town Planning Institute; Paul Callaghan, CBE, DL, FRSA, Chair of Live Theatre, Newcastle and Chair of Sunderland Music, Arts and Culture Trust; and Anna Devlet, Head of Community from British Land. The group of planners and practitioners will share their experiences and explore the role of theatres and wider cultural infrastructure within placemaking.
