Chengdu Dongshuncheng Street Renovation

Chengdu / PRC

This project is located in the Dongshunchen Street area on the east side of Taikoo Li. It aims to create a composite commercial community that uses the electronic music hall as the engine and combines the community center and the old residential facade transformation. The project activates the community by the method of ‘spot-line-area’.

The design concept of electronic music club was named ‘Manpo’. The project introduces an oasis ramp on the original square site and volume, so that the surrounding residents and tourists can roam directly from the pedestrian street to the sky garden on the roof. The project not only provides a wealth of activities and landscape platforms for the community, but also creates greater commercial value for the owners.
