The Goodman Tsuen Wan West precinct comprises of four buildings totalling 148,600 sq m of space, becoming one of Hong Kong’s largest data centre and technology hubs. The revitalised development facilitates the growth of data centres, technology and telecommunication industries in Hong Kong with advanced digital infrastructure.

The precinct was transformed from a disused manufacturing facility Central Textiles and is redeveloped to a data centre estate. Aedas is commissioned to undertake the façade design for 4 data center buildings. The façades of the four building have been designed to have its unique characteristics whilst representing a whole as a Goodman estate. Each building has its architectural form which also reflects the function of the Tier 3 data center, complemented with its own independent highvoltage power supply to accommodate diverse occupiers.

The first two building are completed and fully leased whereas the remaining two buildings are currently under construction and will be completed in 2024. The buildings are LEED Gold pre-certified and BEAM plus and have achieved carbon-neutral goals, incorporating sustainability initiatives including rooftop solar and recycling measures.
