KCR West Rail – Nam Cheong Station

Nam Cheong Station is a below ground station which serves as major interchange station for passengers transferring between the West Rail, Tung Chung and Tsuen Wan Lines. Nam Cheong station was also developed as an interim West Rail terminus. The station is the most complex multi-nodal transport interchange in Hong Kong, combining a PTI, KCR West Rail, and MTR Tung Chung interchange platforms. It is built around the West Kowloon Expressway and under the MTR Airport Express Line. It incorporates a new primary distributor road within its fabric which also allowed for future 369,000 sq m commercial and residential development above.
