Shanghai SCE Zhenru Mixed-use Development

Shanghai / PRC

Shanghai’s SCE Zhenru Mixed-use Development is located in the Zhenru area of Putuo District. Aedas defined the masterplan of the mix-used development which comprises office and residential programs and continued to work on the facade design of the office tower. Meticulously located to optimise daylight intake, office and residential spaces are separated by greenery and both seamlessly integrate to communal driveways and walkways.

Inspired by “stacking stone”, a key element of Classic Gardens of China, the two office towers area marked by a distinguishing outline of staggering glass boxes in diverse sizes, creating cantilevered viewing platforms at various levels and linking the two towers at higher levels. Offering refined modern design, the development cultivates the heart of the metropolitan city while capturing the timeless Shanghai appeal.
