The Huanggang Port New Development Project is situated in Shenzhen’s Futian District. The design alters traditional connections between the port and city while creatively integrating a 'Stacking Strategy' on principle floors. A three-dimensional road is built to separate transiting and non-transiting vehicles on the immigration hall level. A north-south passenger clearance direction is adopted to improve connection with the Shenzhen-Hong Kong rail transit system. The Basement Level connects the port to the rail network, binding together the city's green axis, transportation hub and the old and new ports. The new gateway will fulfil the city's changing transportation requirements while granting the community additional greenery and public space. The project is designed by Aedas with our JV partners Shenzhen CAPOL International & Associates Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Transportation Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd.
