Aedas held a press conference and a client cocktail on 12 December in Beijing, China, celebrating our 15 years of business in mainland China and sharing with guests our fruitful achievements and important milestones in China over the years.

“China represents a whole new city planning strategy and a new lifestyle in Asia,” said Keith Griffiths, Aedas Global Design Principal and Chairman. “Every city in China is different, and Aedas’ deep understanding of local markets, society and culture ensures that we can create unique and timeless architecture which appropriately responds to its location and culture and meets the requirements of change and growth.”

At the press conference, Keith, together with Global Design Principals Andy Wen and Ken Wai, and Deputy Managing Director – China Yinsheng Liu, shared with media representatives Aedas’ deep understand of government policies and the mainland market with highlights of key projects and experiences in southern, northern, eastern, western China, and exchanged views on urban renewal, high-density development, new retail trends, infrastructure development and issues.

Valued clients and partners joined Aedas’ Directors later in the evening to celebrate our important milestones in the urbanisation process of Chinese cities at the cocktail reception. All participating guests enjoyed a wonderful night with good food, wine and conversations.
