Ken Wai, Global Board Director of Aedas, delivered a keynote speech on ‘Revitalisation and Urban Regeneration: A New Architecture Trend in Asia’ at the 5th UK-China Architecture Forum held in Guangzhou, China. He presented a case study of 115 Bathurst Street Mixed-use Development that ‘celebrates the convergence of the old and new as existing and newly constructed structures combine to create an architectural statement that looks confidently to the future, while acknowledging and respecting the past.’
Themed ‘Urbanisation: Constructing a Greener Future’, the event was organised by CBBC and showcased the latest capabilities of companies engaged in providing solutions to the many issues that come with rapid urbanisation.
