Aedas-designed Sheraton Guangzhou Nansha Hotel, the first international branded hotel in Nansha, is recently opened in the center of Nansha in southeast Guangzhou, one of the fastest growing areas in China.
As the Design and Project Architect of the hotel, Aedas Managing Director – China, William Wong and Executive Director Dimi Lee attended the opening ceremony.
The hotel project comprises a five-star hotel, retail podium and a pedestrianised shopping street along the riverfront and offers 291 contemporary guest rooms and suites. The design concept came from ‘Urban Retreat, City Oasis’. Hotel amenities such as banquet hall, recreation facilities and the spa are scattered across the site like flower petals. Nestled in greenery, a green recreational space is created for guests to enjoy.
With exquisite architectural design features, the hotel is set to become one of the signature developments in the emerging trade and business hub of Nansha and the larger Pearl River Delta region.
