Aedas Global Design Principal and Chairman Keith Griffiths recently attended the “Super Tall Building Industry International Summit 2017” in Chonqing, China as keynote speaker, where he delivered an inspiring speech titled “Cultural Responsibility of Super High-rise” and shared with audiences his insights on the topic.
In his speech, Keith compared the different urban icons of the East and the West and reviewed the development of the different architectural styles. He used Aedas-designed super high-rise projects as examples, and explored the necessities of meeting different requirements including the cultural, sustainability, social, climate, geographical and other humanity aspects apart from the functional requirements.
