Adjacent to Terminal 1, HKIA Community Building is opened in December 2022, providing a recreational building for airport staff. It is slated to create a pleasant and people-centric environment for them through a short walking distance from their workplace.

The Community Building consists of a clubhouse and a cafeteria, offering contemporary wellness amenities close to the workplace. Spanning across the floors, the clubhouse covers recreational amenities including a gymnasium, a multi-functional room, a badminton court, a yoga room, a table tennis room, a barbecue area.

Apart from the recreational facilities designed for current airport staff, the building also houses Hong Kong International Aviation Academy and Airport Pre-school to nurture future aviation talents. Classrooms are designed to accommodate the aviation classes.
