Aedas draws design inspiration from a Chinese proverd ‘golden dragon playing with a pearl’ to integrate the idea of shell and pearl with the elements of hotel, creating shell texture on the podium with an elegant tower floating above. Composed of lobby, restaurant and banquet hall, the curved ‘shell’ podium provides unparalleled arrival experience with views to both north public landscape and south garden. Made up by the guest rooms and dramatic swimming pool, the main bulk of the hotel integrates dynamic and order through design of vibrant facade rhythm, manifesting itself as a feature landmark within Hongqiao Paradise Walk.
