The Huawei Dhaka Office occupies approximately 80,000 square feet across 16 floors in Gulshan, serving both corporate operations and the Huawei Academy’s training programmes for internal and external stakeholders.
The programme spans a varied mix of workspaces, a CEO suite, and full suite of amenities such as gyms, a VIP lounge, training rooms, and spaces for canteen serving different crowd and cuisine. and. Open seating, collaborative zones, and flexible training areas connect with breakout lounges and social spaces, fostering incidental interaction that builds workplace community over time.
A cultural dialogue between Bangladeshi and Chinese influences sits at the heart of the design. Local colour palettes and traditional motifs are reinterpreted in a contemporary register across the canteens, executive spaces, and lounges, grounding the office in its local context while aligning with Huawei’s international identity.
Environmental responsibility is embedded throughout. Built-in construction was minimised in favour of modular furniture systems that reduce waste and allow reconfiguration. Materials and furniture were sourced locally wherever possible, reducing transport emissions and supporting the surrounding supply chain.
