Jakarta International Expo occupies a strategically connected position in the city, 28.4 km from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport with direct access from Jakarta’s inner ring road and close proximity to the Golden Triangle business district. The venue has long served as a trusted platform for corporations to connect with staff, partners, customers, and professional associations.
The new Convention Centre and Theatre, launched in Q3 2018, adds over 30,000 sqm of GFA across the 7th floor. The programme includes a 3,000 sqm Grand Ballroom, a 1,000 sqm Junior Ballroom, and 14 meeting rooms totalling 2,100 sqm. The centrepiece is a 2,447-seat, 3-tier proscenium arch theatre designed to serve both large-scale conventions and live entertainment, from theatre productions to major concerts.
In 2024, JIExpo plans to expand its facilities by adding a new Convention Centre & Arena. This expansion will feature two levels of exhibition halls and a multifunctional arena, along with two basement levels.
The new structure will connect to the existing GPN Buildings on every floor and to the adjacent hall at the ground level, enhancing the venue’s capacity and versatility.
