Aedas was commissioned to design the façade and interior for The Marc 88, a Grade A office building by the Hai Son Group. It is more than just an international standard office; it is a modern architectural statement with deep cultural roots. This 27-storey building, with flexible floor areas of about 600 sq m per floor, makes the most of its location near the capital’s main administrative and economic centers.
The soul of the design is inspired by the bamboo tree: a symbol of strength, flexibility, and resilience. This image is brought to life on the building’s front through a delicate system of aluminum fins that run vertically along the entire height. These fins do more than just act as a sunshade to manage light; they also create a lively architectural rhythm that is both modern and local, looking like a giant “bamboo hedge” rising in the heart of the city.
Through smart design and advanced technology, the project earned a LEED Silver certification.
